You will need a keen interest in creating craft projects and happy to work independently and in groups.
Students will have guided learning on differentiated levels from Entry 1 – To level 1.
Students will work on speaking and listening, retaining facts and improving fine motor skills by using different creative mediums such as paint and pencils, cutting, sticking, floristry and clay.
Whatever you create you will usually be able to take it away with you at the end of each project, although we may ask to keep some to display at the end of year, as an example of what is produced, and there will be an element of group project work.
36 Weeks From September 2023 to July 2024
This will be a practical course where students can use their imagination to create individual pieces of work under the guidance of a tutor and will be fun and interactive.
This teaching will be differentiated and there will be minimal amounts of written work involved. We would suggest wearing older clothes due to the nature of some of these activities.
Students will all follow a Learning Criteria delivered over the year, assessments will be through tutor lead practical, classroom based activities and observations in class.
