The travel & tourism industry is a dynamic and fast growing sector accounting for over 2.1 million jobs in the United Kingdom. NCFE qualifications will provide you with key skills and knowledge to gain employment in this fast growing industry. Located near Windsor, we have the benefit of a leading cultural heritage on our doorstep, alongside LEGOLAND Windsor Resort and two major airports , with whom we offer further retail training opportunities.
The course gives you the skills and knowledge to work in airports, airlines, tour operators, travel agencies, hotels or other accommodation, tourist information centres, tourist attractions, cruise line companies, holiday centres, conference or events organisations. We have great links with employers with whom we work to provide routes into employment. You will be taught by a team of lecturers with a high level of commercial knowledge and subject experience.
Students will also have the opportunity to visit employers such as British Airways. Trips are an important part of the course. Previously students have been to Winter Wonderland, Thorpe Park and Central London. UK work experience is a compulsory part of the course.
