Whilst at the College, it is important that alongside your studies, that you think about your next steps. Alongside your curriculum teachers, personal tutors and other key staff, our friendly Careers Adviser, Jayne also is available to support and help you with researching, planning and implementing your chosen career path.

Our accredited careers team is always on hand to offer impartial and confidential advice. They are also available to help you to choose the right courses for your career plans, guide you through career options and offer workshops on career topics. They will also help to remove any financial barriers to your learning.

Our careers and employability advisors are highly qualified and the College holds the Matrix Quality Standard for Information, Advice and Guidance. This means you can expect to receive a high standard of advice and support that is confidential and impartial.
Events and workshops
Events and advice we offer students:
- Visits to and promotion of specialist events
- Onsite careers fairs and activities
- Focussed workshops to support and develop understanding, such as CV skills and job clubs
- Guest speakers and employers on a range of topics including student finance, employment, apprenticeships and university applications
