Last week, two of our second year Level 3 Travel, Tourism & Aviation students completed a week of industry experience with American Airlines.
During their week, they got to check in passengers at the gate, go in the hold and under the aircraft, go into the baggage handling area and see baggage operations, board an AA aircraft with a full flight and give passenger announcements, and go into the cockpit and speak to the pilots. They also received a certificate at the end and loved their experience. What a fantastic opportunity!
