You will learn all the techniques for climbing trees safely and learn the skills for doing all sorts of tree works including felling, reductions, hedge cutting and learning about all the specialist equipment and how to use it efficiently and safely.

This role is based across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

The Club is recruiting a full-time Assistant Greenkeeper to support its commitment to delivering an outstanding golf experience. Working within a small team, the role offers opportunities to apply existing skills and contribute to ongoing course improvement projects.

Work across various sites and learn from experienced colleagues to carry out tree care, safely operate chainsaws/machinery, assist with aerial pruning, identify species/pests, and support tree planting & inspections through in-house & college training. Gain hands-on experience with chippers, stump grinders, and ground machinery.

Working as a great team player, you'll assist your mentor in carrying out work and installations at Abri's properties in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring that all work is in accordance with good building maintenance practice.
