Monday 9 December 2024 – Thursday 12 December 2024 8:30 am to 4:00 pm (4 days)
Monday 10 March 2025 – Thursday 13 March 2025 8:30 am – 4:00 pm (4 days)

This course is designed for those who want to progress their testing and inspection skills. It is best suited to those who are working within the electrical industry and are actively involved with the inspection and testing process with previous experience with live boards.

This 4-day course will contain both theory and practical elements. Learners will return an additional day for a 4-hour practical.

This course will cover the application of conducting periodic inspections to maintain industry standards.
This course is designed for those who want to progress their testing and inspection skills. It is best suited to those who are working within the electrical industry and are actively involved with the inspection and testing process with previous experience with live boards.

• Electricity at work regulations – EAWR
• Design,

• Requirements for periodic inspection and testing

A good understanding of the fundamentals is essential and it is also helpful for you to have an understanding of 3 phase systems. It is strongly suggested that you have 3 years’ experience working with inspection and testing as a practising electrician before taking this course along with the Initial Verification 2391-50 Certification.

Course information

This course is designed for those who want to progress their testing and inspection skills. It is best suited to those who are working within the electrical industry and are actively involved with the inspection and testing process with previous experience with live boards.

The course price quoted (above) includes assessment and certification and is VAT exempt.

A good understanding of the fundamentals is essential and it is also helpful for you to have an understanding of 3 phase systems. It is strongly suggested that you have 2 years’ experience working with inspection and testing as a practising electrician before taking this course.

Three days of theory and then a practical assessment on the fourth day.

This course will include a multiple-choice examination (40 questions – 80 minutes), a short answer test (1 hour) and a practical test (2 hours).

With this course, you could progress into employment as an electrical installation technician or a professional electrician who is qualified to test installations.
