Course information
The course covers four mandatory units to develop core skills including:
– Being organised
– Developing a personal progression plan
– Working with other
– Researching a topic
Plus further six unit which are sector specific units designed specifically for the Health & Social Care including, but not exclusively:
– Finding Out About Health and Social Care Services
– Communication Skills for Health and Social Care
– Making Healthy Snacks When Caring for People
– Advising Others About Healthy Lifestyles
– Providing a Creative Activity When Caring for People
– Supporting Others to Use Adapted Equipment Safely
The programme will also include English and Maths to work towards GCSE level and Tutorials.

You will be assessed by a range of assessment methods suited to skills and sector based qualification at Level 1, All units will be assessed and graded a pass, merit or distinction by your tutors
