Course Overview

There is great local demand for skilled plumbers and the work varies from becoming a domestic plumber to working for a local authority or large construction company. If you are looking for a career change or to improve your prospects our Level 2 Plumbing Diploma (accredited by BPEC) can provide you with the essential knowledge you need to start your career as a plumber.

You will study a wide range of skills to enable you to be effective in the industry. These include:

Course information

This course covers: health & safety; pipework fabrication; bathroom installation; rainwater systems; maintenance tasks including reparing taps, replacin radiator vavles; learning about hot and cold water systems.

1 year

Two-thirds of this course consists of practical classes delivered by experienced tutors with a trade background in fully equipped workshops. Theory-based classes are delivered in college classrooms. Where necessary, classes are occasionally delivered virtually.

You are continually assessed through practical assignments and internal exams.

Level 2 BPECT Diploma in Plumbing Foundation BPEC

Cosolidating core plumbing skills, with an opportunity to go out on a two week industry placement.

A Level 3 Diploma or/and a Level 3 Diploma if employed in the industry.
