This VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatments is a comprehensive vocational qualification that will advance your career as a beauty therapist. This qualification will cover how to reduce hair growth and photo rejuvenation of the skin using intense light and laser treatments.
This course is taught at the Slough & Langley College campus in Langley, Berkshire, with access to industry-standard facilities and industry-experienced tutors.

One Academic Year
A combination of Tutor led demonstrations, student participation & practice, theory delivery and commercial salon that will led on to formative & summative assessments.
Throughout the duration of the course both practical, online & written assessment methods are used to
attain competence.
Level 4 VTCT Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulsed Laser (IPL) Treatments
16-19 year olds will study Maths and/or English if this GCSE is not achieved on entry.
Once you have successfully completed this Level 4 course you will be known as an Advanced Beauty
Therapist. This qualification will lead you to higher level courses within the beauty industry and, make you
more of a desirable employee within salons, spas & clinics.

A uniform must be purchased within 6 weeks of enrolling for the course. Details of the uniform are handed out during the enrolment process. Bursaries are available for those who are eligible – subject to individual assessment.
