Entry Requirements

Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (Diploma) qualification and maths & English at grade 4 or above and be working within a salon/spa/clinic environment

Management of health, safety, and security in the salon
Client care and communication in beauty-related industries
Laser and light treatments for hair removal
Laser and light treatments for skin rejuvenation

One Academic Year

A combination of Tutor led demonstrations, student participation & practice, theory delivery and commercial salon that will led on to formative & summative assessments.

Throughout the duration of the course both practical, online & written assessment methods are used to
attain competence.

Level 4 VTCT Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulsed Laser (IPL) Treatments

16-19 year olds will study Maths and/or English if this GCSE is not achieved on entry.

Once you have successfully completed this Level 4 course you will be known as an Advanced Beauty
Therapist. This qualification will lead you to higher level courses within the beauty industry and, make you
more of a desirable employee within salons, spas & clinics.
Wider employment opportunities within the Beauty sector.

Level 4

A uniform must be purchased within 6 weeks of enrolling for the course. Details of the uniform are handed out during the enrolment process. Bursaries are available for those who are eligible – subject to individual assessment.
