The 14-16 course programmes provide nationally-recognised qualifications which combine practical skills development and academic content, highly valued by employers and effective at fast-tracking students into work. Part Time Programme – Available at BCA and Slough & Langley

We work in partnership with schools to deliver specialist 14–16 programmes, giving students in Year 10 and Year 11 the opportunity to broaden their learning experience. These programmes allow pupils to continue studying their core GCSE subjects at school while also attending college to access vocational courses and specialist facilities that may not otherwise be available to them. By collaborating in this way, we can create a tailored learning pathway that enriches the school curriculum, raises aspirations, and helps students build confidence and skills for their future education and career choices

Full Time Programme – Available at Slough & Langley ONLY

Our direct entry provision offers young people the opportunity to join the college in Year 10 or Year 11, providing a supportive and structured alternative to mainstream education or Elective Home Education. This pathway is designed for students who may be looking for a different environment to thrive in, combining the chance to continue core GCSE subjects with access to specialist vocational learning and enrichment opportunities.

Schools Transition Programme

The Schools Transition Programme is specifically aimed at individual learners in school years 10 & 11 who are experiencing difficulties accessing mainstream education or are home educated.

The course provides opportunities to return to learning. The programme, where possible, is tailored to each learner, providing a flexible return to study e.g. a phased introduction to College. The programme will include a vocational area of choice with the opportunity to access English, Maths and Science.

If on school roll these can work in partnership with the students’ other studies at school for up to a maximum of 3 days a week. If an application is being made, please be aware we will need written confirmation from the school that they agree to the placement and to fund the placement within 6 weeks of the application. Any new applications for September 2026 the deadline for all written confirmation will be 26th June 2026.

If home educated, students can be funded to attend for a maximum of 2 days a week. Students with an EOTAS/EOTIS package can attend for up to a maximum of 3 days a week.

5. We will invite you to an interview
6. If successful, we will offer you a place
