Students at Slough & Langley College enjoyed a fascinating visit from local firefighters, who demonstrated the specialist rescue techniques used at the scene of serious road traffic collisions.
The team showed how emergency services safely remove the roof of a vehicle to reach and assist injured passengers, giving students a first-hand insight into the equipment, skills and teamwork required in these high-pressure situations.
The demonstration brought learning to life, helping students explore careers within the emergency services while learning directly from professionals working on the front line.
A huge thank you to the firefighters for sharing their expertise and inspiring the next generation through this memorable and engaging experience.
